| Withdrawal Unfortunately we had to scratch the Tomahawk-Vinona colt from the 2007 Preferred Session of the Yearling Sale. The colt had a colic the day before the sale and we did not wanted to take a chance and took him home where he felt much better. Until then everybody liked the strong, well balanced yearling with the beautiful walk. So it came to no surprise that we had several interested parties and he was sold later privatly. Also no surprise was that freshman sire Tomahawk had a strong sale with am avarage of $42'000 per yearling! The highest Tomahawk-yearlings went for $140'000, $120'000 and $110'000. With a gorgeous Tomahawk-weanling-filly and Vinona back in foal to him we are looking forward to the first runners of this stallion in 2008. Very precocious himself chances are he will have some good 2-year-olds. |
